My name is short. It is brief, but musical and I like it. When my name is pronounced, there are two

syllables instead of three. There is an accent on the first syllable which explains the musical sound of

my name. It starts with a strong sound to finish with a sweet one. My musical name is from my

family and it is derived from my father's name, Nicolas. Both of our names come from Greek and

they mean "The victory of the people".

For me, my name is strong and full of history, like the name Marie or Mathieu. They are French

names, strong names. In spite of the Greek origin and the significance of my name for the people, my

name is funny and it is sometimes the source of jokes. In French my name is also the name that we

use to describe a little mountain but with a different spelling. People joke about that and give me a lot

of nicknames like "little mountain" which sound like an Indian or Chinese name.

I like my name because it is at the time musical, homely, historic and funny. It is rare and lovely but
